My passion for improving public services is inspired lived experience.
I have the physical disability cerebral palsy and, since the day I was born, I have had extensive contact with professionals in education, health and social care services, and have encountered the best and worst they have to offer. In addition to being a beneficiary of services, I have also volunteered on the boards of public bodies and charities.
These experiences inspired me to pursue a career as a research consultant. I hold a Masters in Public Policy from University College London and an undergraduate degree in History from King’s College London. As a professional, I have cultivated a strong track record of producing high-quality research and written reports and articles on social issues.
I am a freelance research consultant and writer based in London.
I conduct research and write articles on a diverse range of social issues for statutory bodies, charities and private sector companies involved in delivering public services. I also frequently collaborate with other research professionals at larger consultancies, think tanks and other organisations dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable people.
One of the best things about my job is that I am always learning and expanding my body of knowledge and insights informed by a combination of lived experience and the fruits of years of study and collaboration with organisations just like yours. My mission is to help clients make better sense of the challenges they face – whether internal or external – by providing access to the knowledge and skills that will allow them to find solutions.
